does know how configure laptop has wifi chipset?!?

laptop:
acer aspire 5002wlmi

wifi chipet: bcm4318

id:
$ lspci -nn | grep 14e4

also, don't want outdated instructions... there going on, imho, , driver no longer working... looks like

don't know else try , guess i'm getting close giving , using pos laptop windoze machine...

i've tried ubuntu, xubuntu, lubuntu , variations of debian flavors.

same laptop's wireless works in windows xp.

i'm typing on laptop in linux wifi card in machine intel ipw2200 wifi card works in acer , wireless configuration seems set correctly.

have idea of try now? nice laptop working. regardless, i'll never buy broadcom card in it!!!

yes, go synaptic package manager, type in b43 in search box, install "b43 installer" , "b43 firmware." have while on ethernet. should go.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
