Thread: F15/GNOME 3 , working great!

i got f15 work wireless , cannot sure if due did tweaking. did during installation process ticked off box requested info page on hardware set-up. if reason bravo fedora! after 72 hours of letting install sit booted , kernel update presented , think did fix.

gnome 3 ??? first impression thought sort of "unity desktop training wheels" - hehe .. no , really, pretty sleek sure , f15 lot faster it's predecessor, f14.

in both of working realtionships unity , gnome 3 must there drastic departure traditional style, themes, framework , functionality of recent previous versions. tempted recent de versions can considered legacy compared unity , g3.

however, not difficult of learning curve because took me while compiz 3d cube rotate (and because decided 1 day pess mouse wheel down-but if had known sooner had saved lot of time) - sure can find equal patience unity , g3. can speculate reasonablly developers of unity , g3 working hard new patches , tweaks come.

@ first glance these new des not justice predecessors , think due compiz conflicts (as had mentioned in post.)

yeah fedora 15 pretty nice. have been using few days now. yum isn't bad thought be. terminal. yum search, yum update, yum install

not bad @ all. is fast , stable. however, did have kernel crash when ejected u3 flash drive lol. oh well, cant have all.
