Thread: System drive label stuck as "Install Ubuntu"

hi there. i've been running windows xp , ubuntu dual-boot on desktop pc years now, and, when bought netbook recently, thought i'd same. having no dvd drive in netbook, had create bootable installer on flash drive, using unetbootin. far, good, when creating installer, using desktop machine, cocked , started unload installation files onto c drive, not flash drive. stopped process before damage xp installation, i'm stuck c drive labelled 'install ubuntu'. i've renamed drive label 'system' in windows explorer, displayed label still 'install ubuntu'. know way, short of reinstalling xp, can rid of erroneous label? it's minor annoyance , xp installation still works fine, i'm happy leave unless can correct without major surgery. in advance advice given.

if you've bootable ubuntu, can fix gparted.
