Thread: Windows won't boot after Ubuntu and Grub.
hello,
have formatted computer today on following steps:
(i ubuntu user before, , need install windows too, why formatting)
1) backup;
2) installed windows 7 professional (and partitioned disk in 3 + system tables windows reserves, installing on first partition);
3) installed backtrack (that ubuntu) partitioning more hard disk (leaving first partition intact creating logical partitions);
4) installed ubuntu;
5) restored backup;
after thinking ok, until try booting on windows seven... stops booting when 'mounting windows logo' , shows veeery quick blue screen of death before restarting... cannot repair using windows dvd because doesn't recognize hard disk anymore , when booting on windows (before loading have black screen asking repair or normal boot) repair nothing... says wasn't possible find out wrong.
don't know do, not comfortable idea of redoing whole work of backup , formatting (losing next weekend)... have experienced issue , fixed it?
thanks!!
