Thread: wlan0 appears as eth1

hi there!
have asus 1015pem netpc , i'm experiencing problem last release of ubuntu , wireless card.

have worked fine far, if try run sw airodump or wireshark lot of problems 'cause wifi card recognised ethernet card wired connections.

have no problem surfing internet using wireless connections, when try use kind of software, don't work because interface appears "eth1" instead of "wlan0" or whatever.

me, please?

here's iwconfig:
code:
lo no wireless extensions. eth0 no wireless extensions. eth1 ieee 802.11 access point: not-associated link quality:5 signal level:0 noise level:165 rx invalid nwid:0 invalid crypt:0 invalid misc:0
and card, lspci:
code:
01:00.0 ethernet controller: atheros communications ar8132 fast ethernet (rev c0) 02:00.0 network controller: broadcom corporation bcm4313 802.11b/g/n wireless lan controller (rev 01)
thanks,
bye!

the name of interface irrelevant, replace 1 in tutorial have. if doesn't work, it's because of driver. example, if use broadcom's sta driver, putting card monitor mode shouldn't work, , may need patch driver or use one.
