Why won't Adobe Reader X let me save PDFs?

this started recently, within last few weeks.

 

if hit save when in adobe reader x, nothing.

 

scenario 1: online

if view docuemnt within browser, click on icon @ bottom says save, nothing happens.

 

scenario 2: offline

if view document have on hard drive, can view fine, if highlight something, save, says "where want save it" , "are sure want overwrite?" , nothing happens.  if attempt close it, "do want save it?" other 2 questions , nothing happens.  have "revert" close if want close document.

 

per previous thread semed abruptly cut short on same topic, tried solutions well:

right clicking on link file online, , saving works fine.

 

however there no response original asker after steps, , didn't me.

 

any thoughts?

pls let know following details:

1. os

2. version of adobe reader installed (help > adobe reader)

3. browser bineg used view pdfs

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
