Can't edit content of articles - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm joomla novice, i've been able muddle along site inherited while back. until recently, is...

now seems can't edit article content. can publish , unpublish articles state being saved, when try change text within article, no dice: changes aren't present after saving, closing , re-opening article editor, nor visible viewer. presumably relatedly, can't create new articles.

i tried upgrading (1.5.18 -> 1.5.25), had no apparent effect. suggestions?

having read few other similar postings, other details:

* browser: i've tried chrome, firefox, , ie, same results.

* host access: use ftp access, not sure if host has control panel (i'm doing friend).

* trigger events: no specific action (on part) led this. it's pretty dormant set of pages. worked last time needed add info (september)...

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
