Can I run CS6 on Desktop and CS5 on Laptop at the same time?

first off, let me start saying small business owner. @ work between 10 16 hours per day, every day. have little time in life not sitting @ main desktop macintosh, unless sleeping.

 

all of my work files on desktop computer in cs5. plan keep using cs5 working files now. purchased cs6 backsave.

 

but want learn cs6, , work before make sudden, or dramatic, change.

 

i want turtorials , go through cs6 learning curve on laptop. sits peacfully @ side, day every day. downtime can playing, learning , experimenting. without fear of doing damage cs5 files or main production mac.

 

if try run cs5 on desktop and cs6 on laptop, at same time -- call home, stop, freeze, lock up, or , send me, in form, adobe jail or abuse center?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
