Photos go "Missing" in Organizer

i hope can me. has been going on long time. i'll notice yellow question mark in upper left hand corner of photo in organizer. i'll attempt have elements reconnect photo automatically, , comes nothing- 90% of time. i'll try reconnect manually, , comes nothing. won't come close match. other day noticed 2 photos had gone missing. had done nothing them, had not moved them, renamed them, etc. tried auto reconnect. 2 photos came up, 8 photos in between them , on either side of them went missing of sudden. ???? typical of experience.

 

would able tell me what's going on? @ point, i'm thinking it's bug, , should abandon elements altogether. can't afford have edited photos "disappear" this. can't waste time re-importing them , re-editing them.  have tens of thousands of photos.

 

thank ideas or help....

 

still, afraid of losing photos.

hey,

where media stored? of them on network/removable drive?

yellow icon shown on image when there change in file name/file path/date/any attribute related image 'outside organizer'.

are using drive cloning software? using dual boot pc?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
