after cache cleared - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hi
i cleared cached , turn cache on xcache or other order did not remember. cant save because 500 error , when want acces clear cache(administrator/index.php?option=com_cache) or change cache off 500. cant anything... how can resolve it?
to make clear. after hit save button no matter page 500 error
erorr http 500 (internal server error)
in frontend every thing ok

go joomla root , change configuration.php manually editing file, switch cache value file or off try , revert working version of joomla.
since you're trying use xcache , may not have file stat enabled, try restarting server afterwards , clearing browser cache.
xcache, eaccelerator, apc, php opcode caches. cache compiled php code in memory out of box php code, have manually make settings via php.ini or repsective module ini files disable features directories, files, etc.
in scenario have not disabled caching of admin, output showing isn't fresh it's cached output looks no changes took place.
you can use joomla cache handler them more caching benefits joomla well....this independent of it's built in features , opcode caching explained.
one thing should disable admin section of joomla via ini files (keeping stat on, check changes in php files , recompile them if necessary), enable in joomla, , make sure reboot server changes take effect if not stat'ing files.
