image based drop down menu?

hello,

i working on project want have dropdown menu expands images inside of it, instead of text.  there way or nuts? i'm student, way, i'm struggling bit doing this.

i had designed layout in photoshop , saved images & html.  i'd use menu sliced in dreamweaver dropdown option.
