LR 3.6 x64 freezes in import

this new phenomenon, , we've been using lr more year without issue.

 

we running lr 3.6, 64 bit version, on windows 7 home edition sp1 (x64)

 

6gb memory, 800gb disk free on c:

 

in import dialogue, when click on device import, "busy" indicator comes on , never stops, no progress made returning control user can make other selections within import dialogue. started happening last week, , rebooted computer , went away. it's , not responding rebooting.

 

i have tried uninstalling lr , reinstalling, , i've tried deleting preferences file, no luck on either. don't know next.

 

please help. volume studio , using lr our workflow solution. until fixed, work piling up.

what have plugged usb ports? try unplugging isn't required input , see if helps. if does, plug things in in controlled manner find culprit. if not, come back, , we'll think more.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
