Nav buttons pixelated in IE-6/7/8?
frustration... got simple little site want - publish test business catalyst - looks great ... on mac.
then client calls , asks why javascript states below top level pixelated (he means aliased) - , he's looking on ie8.
tried support call me - it's 40 minutes...still waiting
i want know if qwerk of biz catalyst - or when client posts real.
in case i'll have go somewhere else nav buttons!
please wisdom if can.
it helpful have url of page in question, or screenshot of what's being seen in ie8.
muse not support ie6. (by measures ie6 usage below 1% of site visitors sites , ie7 usage below 2%.)
muse support ie7 , ie8, both have bugs difficult workaround relate transparent (png) images , applied transparency, transparency effects or animated transparency (fade in/out). (note effects applied in muse, such rounded corners, bevel, shadow or glow, muse 1.x may generate transparent png @ output time in order achieve effect, while haven't explicitly imported transparent png 1 may still necessary achieve design on web.)
without seeing problem web page, i'm stabbing in dark bit, first things i'd minor changes might made design reduce use of transparency and/or transparent images (esp. overlapping semi-transparent objects or non-100% opacity on fade in/out effect).
another thing i'd try publishing new trial site using muse 2.0 beta 2. we've made significant changes how shadow , glow effects exported improve page load performance on newer browsers, in process there changes may have improved overlapping transparent pngs , transparency effects bug workarounds ie7 , ie8. (if want give muse 2.0 beta 2 try, can update joining muse beta program via "help improve adobe muse" menu item in "help" menu. can revert muse 1.1 unchecking checkbox in same dialog. note you'll want sure save .muse file muse 2.0 beta 2 new file name , not overwrite muse 1.x file, have original 1.1 .muse file should need revert muse 1.1. release notes muse 2.0 here.)
