Newbie Moving 1.5.25 content to 2.5.8 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have been adding , editing content on joomla 1.5.25 site did not create couple of years. i've made minor config tweaks, can use filezilla fine, , familiar basic .htaccess concepts i'm joomla newbie. migrate content--i have 185 articles in blog type format--on existing site joomla 2.5.

i have created subdomain new.mysite.org , installed , upgraded joomla 2.5.8 on subdomain. plan copy content new subdomain , work out bugs , archive old site , move files new subdomain root domain. best way this?

also, wading through online documentation (yes, looked in absolute beginner's guide) couldn't find answer real basic question: joomla store site content files? i've seen references in documentation sql databases haven't found using filezilla don't claim have looked in every subfolder.

use jupgrade extension if want move joomla 1.5.x joomla 2.5.x

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
