i have stumbled bit more , found how check if hso module installed in kernel - seems be:
i have wondered if card requires cd operate. downloaded 'ozerocdoff' peck.org/ozerocdoff.htmlhtml code:michael@michael-laptop:~$ find /lib/modules/`uname -r` -name 'hso.ko' /lib/modules/2.6.32-32-generic/kernel/drivers/net/usb/hso.ko /lib/modules/2.6.32-32-generic/updates/dkms/hso.ko
think have installed correctly, blindly following instructions still there seems 'no life' in pcmcia card.
ideas?
