Thread: Mount point screw up
hi i'm new ubuntu. have worked off , on , have had successful results of times have worked it. i'm stumped current problem. built new ubuntu 11.04 machine while solely used vm backups proxmox. installed ubuntu on scsi raid 1 setup. totaled 147 gb. got , running after few mistakes. created raid 0 2 1 tb sata drives used vm backups. took while got setup. mounted raid 0 array /media/data. created nfs share pointing data folder. backups have been running while , yesterday logged in double check things , saw out of disk space on raid 1 array. started check , saw mounted /media/data folder taking space on both raid 1 , raid 0. normal? sorry if did terrible job trying describe problem. kind of forgot how set thing up. know did stupid , easy fix can't seem figure out. if had can break raid apart , start scratch. appreciated.
