Thread: NetworkManager not working, wifi not coming up

suddenly wireless card isn't coming automatically.

following sequence fixes it:

code:
ifconfig eth1-eth0 killall networkmanager networkmanager restart
obviously that's total kludge though.

when first boot up, eth1-eth0 interface isn't up.

after bringing up, networkmanager doesn't start. executing "networkmanager start" tells me running.

there way "reinstall" or reset networkmanager, , have card start automatically?

help.

do have install wicd??

reistall network manager go system ->> administrator ->> synaptic packed manager find network manager , delete it... restart machine , go again synaptic , install it.. if problem doesn't fix.... remove network manager , download wicd....
