Thread: Suspend, hibernate and occassional shutdown issues.

hey guys.
i'm having issues ubuntu keeping me away making permanent transition windows.

i'm running natty on envy 14 i5 switchable graphics mobility radeon 5650. having issues booting without using "nomodeset" able solve installing fglrx drivers. installing these has rendered laptop unable suspend or hibernate.

laptop screen go blank (not black) few seconds , come login screen, if attempt login i'm met window saying battery monitor has stopped working , computer freezes forcing hard reboot.

pm-suspend works on occasions, , when work windows , previous work closed, , wifi not work whatever after waking.

i've tried every guide , tip out there on how fix this, sudo apt-get install uswsusp, editing files , such. none have yielded results (uswsusp made worse). i'm on fresh install on natty fglrx drivers , issue remains, on matter appreciated.

ps, i'm attaching copy of pm-suspend.log in case there useful in there.
attached files attached files

bump

pls?
