Thread: Updated dial-up modem list

although ubuntu says everyone, seems except people dial-up. when searching run across people saying 'you should dsl', , how-tos 2008 or earlier. telling me dsl when i'm trying find out dial-up giving me beer when asked water. if had knowledge or expertise write how-to, would, not blessed gift. thank programmers , creators of ubuntu work , effort have put wonderful distro, make available rich , poor alike (except of dial-up). posting using windoze xp because modem have conexant modems (pci , external usb) , windoze 7 not support them, neither ubuntu 11.04 seems, , paid $19.99 usd linuxant full speed driver. guess i'll have save , agere modem,as winmodem has worked every version of ubuntu have used, including 11.10, leads me reason wrote post:

agere modem - martian
with ubuntu works wvdial @ full speed, haven't been able able make gnome-ppp recognize it.

agere modem - agrsm
with ubuntu works wvdial @ full speed , gnome-ppp will recognize one.

conexant chipset - hsfmodem

worked ubuntu 10.10, @ half speed unless buy driver. not compile 11.04.

if has add, please do.

could tell error message got when trying compile?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
