Workflow questions when creating ads

i'm new indesign  these questions may seem basic.  pardon me if there simple solutions overlooked.

 

i'm looking workflow ideas work mock of 9x12 postcard.  have 8 ads on each side.  i'm creating 8 mock ads to show 1 side looks sell clients. of ads 4x3 i'm assembling each in own file, inside reactangle box.  guess work in postcard file might confusing.

 

but once finished, how file postcard file.  exported 1 eps file imported postcard file way.  wasn't same size.  should forget trying make same size , fix size when position on postcard. 

 

also putting ads in rectangular box means grids don't show in box.  there work around use grids or there kind of box use them?

if componenet ads going 4x3, set them individually 4 x 3  documents. can place files directly in larger layout using place command, can image. editing done on original ad file, link gets updated. don't bother .eps.

 

if size isn't quite right might due stroke on frame...

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
