Application Manager Says Acrobat is Installed But it Isn't
i had uninstall acrobat since wouldn't start, kind of incorect license message. may have been installed, in fact installed disk had. assumed able re-install creative cloud version application manager application manager insists it's installed. ain't. after multiple reboots. ideas?

you might try uninstall previous installation:
uninstall acrobat x in mac os®
in applications > utilities > adobe installers, select acrobat x uninstaller , double-click it.
follow onscreen instructions uninstall acrobat.
in authenticate dialog box, type user name , password administrator account , click ok.
note: uninstaller removes adobe acrobat x files system. not remove adobe reader files, acrobat user data, or files shared other adobe applications.
(optional) move adobe pdf settings files created library/application support/adobe pdf folder , drag folder trash.
uninstall acrobat x in windows®
open control panel > programs , features (vista/win 7) or add/remove programs (xp)
find entry acrobat x, select it
click uninstall , follow on screen instructions
note: sure check list again after uninstallation ensure acrobat components removed
after uninstall try reinstalling acrobat x within adobe applictaion manger
