hi! i'm trying install joomla 2.5 on live server (not localhost) display errors , magic quotes gpc turned on instead of recommended off. how can turn these off. attached snapshot of error.

who hosted , shared hosting, dedicated server, or vps server?

the actual settings managed within server's main php.ini file.
the display_errors setting can managed directly within joomla, site only, once installed within global configuration ⇒ server ⇒ error reporting. default uses system default setting in case on (but there different levels of on). can set off from drop down box when site ready production/open public.

magic_quotes_gpc not simple answer. ideally speak host , them change if on shared hosting. might give option change adding local php.ini file site_root/ , site_root/administrator directories of joomla site. need speak them or check support documentation.

if on dedicated or vps server options have direct access server php.ini file itself.

i add neither of these variables @ current setting prevent joomla installation.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
