Grey to white gradients smoothing error

hey folks!

 

i've used ps long time, i've encountered problem recently. don't know when happend noticed it. use ps cs5 reguarly , downloaded trial cs6 today see if fixed problem, didn't

edit: dunno, linking picture seem make tiny thumbnail, copy paste url see bigger one.

 

as can see, overlap grey white when use gradient tool breaks clean grey white border. i've never had problem before. have tried see if might use wrong settings or color options, couldn't find anything.

 

my homepage in design phase , contains lot of grey colors, therefore problem screws project!

 

have had same problem or reason know fix it?

there's no sudden break in gradient.

 

measure values in image. gradient in steps of rgb 1,1,1.

 

i guess have display problem if gradient doesn't smooth you. try recalibrating monitor.
