index.php removal 404 error - tried everything - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello,

firstly have same problem guy: viewtopic.php?f=615&t=762790 i'm using 2.5.8

i've tried solutions on net possible, done editing htaccess file, tried different url extension manging programs etc etc, still have no success, without index.php pages won't load.

i looking can maybe come solution fix problem.

here list of i've tried.

setting correct settings in joomla configuration.
tweaking mentioned possible on net htaccess file.
looked hidden htaccess (not there)
different extensions try solving problem.
all possible solutions on thread:

i new host now, contacted them, asked them enabling directoryindex php files. said tick joomla configuration settings (which told them done) said if it's not it's template, waiting next reply.

maybe @ htaccess file me, great. i've been on 2 days now, no success, maybe it's simple missing stuck now.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
