Thread: 11.04 installation problem: can't open udevadm settle


hello everyone, trying install ubuntu 11.04 laptop, have 10.10 installed , working. when try boot computer usb installation, (after waiting few minutes):

i using windows 7 , ubuntu dual boot. didnt have problem when installing 10.10. not sure think upgraded bios after 10.10 installation, might related. didnt change else related hardware since.

not sure other information should provide, please ask. note given error message might not 100% correct have typed photo.

having exact same issue installing usb. dell inspiron 1720, 4gb ram, intel core 2 duo, nvidia 8600m 256mb.

2 drives, 1 using chamelon boot hackintsh or windows, other windows 7 installed on partition located after 100gb of unallocated space. intend install ubuntu on 100gb of unallocated space, if can there.
