Thread: Can't get VLC to start ! Pls help

hello . started work on ubuntu , i'm having problem vlc , can't run i'm not trying run user root , followed tutorial google http://www.webupd8.org/2010/06/how-t...in-ubuntu.html . problem installed vlc , seem well,i can find in applications > sound , video > vlc when click on run nada , nothing happens , error when in terminal use "vlc" command
