Thread: Synch Music playlists to Android phone via Wireless

hi guys,

been happily using ubuntu past 2 months now! got android phone. wonder options synchronize music via wireless.

when plug in phone via usb cable, auto-mounts , media players (such banshee , clementine) automatically recognize phone media device , offer manage themselves.

now, able install ftp server on android device. using curlftpfs able mount server regular mount point in filesystem. haven't tried i'm pretty sure banshee or clementine not recognize android phone running ftp via wifi media device.

found on web can create file on root of ftp server called .is_audio_player
file recognized banshee , rythmbox. guess using method banshee recognize ftp server on android phone media device , work via usb.

... not work clementine.. isn't real biggie brings me bigger question: happens when mount usb device (such ipod, or phone) tells system media device ? can somehow mock behavior when setting mountpoint curlftpfs same treatement out-of-the-box, if you'd have plugged usb cable ?

hints / pointers guys
