Thread: Toshiba laptop screen shrunk


i have toshiba satellite laptop, model a105-s4064, , have been running ubuntu 11.04 3 months. of sudden, screen on laptop shrunk. displayed area covers entire lcd screen top bottom, on both sides display not wide lcd screen. display squeezed in on both sides 1 inch edge of lcd screen.

far know, have not changed settings on computer. can tell me how increase screen size, covers whole screen?

system ->preferences ->dispaly , see if can change resolution fit native screen resolution of laptop.

not sure how setting in unity, must there somewhere. in control center logout button top right?
