Thread: what i am doing wrong?

downloaded ubuntu-11.04-desktop-i386.iso ubuntu website,
extracted winrar new folder , burned folder contents cd (on machine).
inserted cd in new virgin machine running xp sp3 (it has nothing loaded except partition magic 8). plan use other machine dedicated linux, assess differences xp.
banner came in, offering demo, indicating s/w loaded. got error.
selected second option install ubuntu. got error.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=224351 ; believe (confirmation or correction welcomed), missing s grub or grub2 file.
start > accessories doesn’t allow me open terminal (only hyperterminal), attempts communicate exterior via com1 (???)

tried start > run > com dos, don’t believe way go.
need help. assistance appreciated.

did burn .iso image disk or extract contents of .iso , burn disk , inserting in windows , autorun on disk running ?

sounds thats did wrong, need burn .iso image not extract contents

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
