Videos won't play in IE 8 or Firefox 14 on XP Pro SP3

these flash players (11.4.402.265), (11.3.300.271) , v. 10.3, not play videos in ie (8.0.6001.18702) or firefox (14.0.1) on windows xp pro sp3 laptop computer.

 

i have discovered if use youtube’s secure https:// option videos play, workaround not work on fb , other non-youtube sites.

 

when check flash player installation windows control panel, bouncing box in firefox , says have 11.4.402.265 installed. when go adobe flash player page, blank area no pass or fail indication , no version numbers @ all.

 

i have enabled flash player add-ons in ie 8. have deleted flash player browsing data. , have removed flash player cache.

 

how can fp work properly?

does ie display version on page?

do have security or ad blocking software running?  if so, try temporarily disabling , see if makes difference.  if https working, it's possible we're running case of utility being aggressive it's filtering (since these utilities can see http traffic, not https).

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
