403 Error when editing articles - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

here full text of results:
i getting error, repeated continually
editing , saving same article (i editing home article). if you
do enough, error when clicking on edit icon.
i have found error happening on 2 different servers. not a
browser problem – happens in both firefox , safari. not editor
problem – happens both jce , tinymce (even happens when no editor is
selected).
i using fresh install of j2.5.8, populated w/ sample data, , beez_20
template. appears not related jupgrade.
(i seeing message "article saved" persist
after page refreshed.)
i thought problem may related admin being logged the
frontend , backend @ same time, confirmed not.
to precipitate problem, kept editing , saving home page
article, making minor changes text. prior 403 error, when
in edit mode on article, see text showing in editor not
the current text (i.e. last saved). strange indeed... there
are 2 versions of content saved same article. log out
of frontend, , log backend. see article manager
is showing article locked.
i finished attempt duplicate this. time, after seeing the
text not being last saved, , clicking edit icon followed cancel
several more times (i.e. opening article , closing immediately), the
last cancel resulted in edit icon disappearing – had been logged out
for no reason. return backend... article manager again shows
the article locked. clicking lock nothing... several times.
now refresh article manager page , see "1 article successfully
checked in" repeated 6 times.
php 5.3.18, mysql 5.5.28, joomla 2.5.8
