How do I know if a copy of Illustrator will be compatable with a UK laptop?

my girlfriend lives on in uk, while i'm in us. birthday / prom got wacom inkling... discover requires illustrator *use* more fancy pen. needless i've seen searching around copy of illustrator buy amend blunder on part, of places online don't specify whether software greared towards (ntsc formatted) or uk (pal formatted) computer systems. there somewhere can uk-specific copy of illustrator, or software somehow universalized , region-coded issues in fact non-issues? i'd know possible, 1 way or another. can give me insights here.

did try illustrator forum already?

 

in case, i've never heard of different versions of illustrator or photoshop (or other software, matter)  based on uk v usa, less of software based on ntsc or pal video.  computers not "coded based" on tv signal distinction. 

 

when post on @ adobe illustrator forum ( illustrator ), try elaborate bit on specific concerns have.

 

you can buy adobe software directly adobe uk store, @ considerably higher price.  software absolutely identical regardless of buy it.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
