while videos fun watch, not @ helpful.  imagine new user  (or user migrating cs3-cs5 cloud cs6) wants learn how use illustrator image trace (or find moved release) .   now, watch videos posted.  command located?  presets located?  tools located?  seems demonstrators right clicking on mouse and  using keyboard shortcut commands. not "show" on video.  need 12 minute videos? 

 

as long time user , sometime trainer, text instructions faster search/read/refer , easier remember flashy graphics, loud music , talking head.   

 

the adobe website forces users caught in contact loop when looking help.  example, spent 20 minutes looking printed version of file, 20 minutes in chat session customer service rep gave me number call, 57 minutes on phone technician not familiar issues or software.  did, however, me find pdf file unable search words paint or trace ... until looked (ctl f).  in fact, way search pdf file download user's hard drive , use find command (mac/pc).  illustrator.  same story photoshop (issue resolved reinstalling) , in design.

 

honestly, entire creative cloud experience has been frustrating - download support.  if cars computers, we'd still driving horse , buggies.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
