Photoshop Start Up Problem


i have installed adobe photoshop 7.0 on mac g5 power pc,  cd valid serial number.  operating system mac os x leopard, version 10.5.

 

however, when try run photoshop 7.0, receive following error message "an unexpected , unrecoverable problem has occurred because of program error. photoshop exit".  ok

 

this message displayed if try load photoshop double clicking on photoshop progam icon, or if try load 1 of sample photos.

 

i have tried re-install photoshop 7.0, doesn't fix problem.

 

can tell me doing wrong?  how can fix problem?  how can more detail information pogram error being encountered can debug system?

here system requirements when photoshop 7 released in 2002.

 

  • powerpc g3, g4, or g4 dual processor
  • mac os 9.1, 9.2, or mac os x v.10.1.3
  • 128 mb ram (192 mb ram recommended)
  • 320 mb hard-disk space
  • color monitor 16-bit color or greater video card
  • 800x600 or greater monitor resolution
  • cd-rom drive

 

i not surprised if has requirement rosetta available.  can try steps listed in troubleshoot system errors, freezes | mac os 10.x | adobe software - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-mac.html.

 

i recommend upgrading current version of our software not have current offerings g5 processor.
