Problem with "Module Article Categories" display options - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i trying use "module article categories" module , have got work, cannot seem figure out how remove dynamic plus sign "+". don't want plus sign , not show articles until user clicks on +, want display latest 5 article titles on sidebar (module position).

i have gone through display options, cannot find option remove plus sign method , display article list.
