Results in Image Trace don't match Live Trace

i started using cs6, jumping cs3. major tool use live trace, , have custom settings that. cannot find way make image trace behave way live trace did black , white line drawings. results in cs6 far inferior got in cs3 in terms of retaining of original raster image. appreciated. otherwise, have leave cs3 installed live trace.

 

here sample of mean. can see quality degredation in cs6 compared cs3. (and it's more obvious when it's full size , full resolution.)

my first thought reduce "threshold" settings. in cs 3 have @ 128 in cs6 have 198. might forcing trace catch detail , thereby tracing pixels image.

you should try reducing paths , corners settings bit see if helps

and maybe should try create "strokes" option too. can't don't have copy of cs 6 yet best guesses

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
