select user group while making new registration time - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,
i using new joomla version 3.0 , in registration time want make filed author person select assign user group author them , user have permission use each thing form front end , person not author have selected permission on front end.

just go location plugins\user\profile. here shall found profile.xml. add new field xml file , reinstall same plugin( not forget uninstall first before installing again.). provide option add field profile of user. can used fulfill requirement making few small changes code.
