i know linux distros not vulnerable malware windows environment guess there still bad folks out there trying bad things. there anti-malware apps available? if so, recommendations????

there isn't worry about, download clamav if you're concerned. have 1 of in case things, scans every file download off internet , can run complete scans of whole system or specific sections. lot.

sudo apt-get install clamtk
that install clamav, antivirus, , clamtk, graphical interface it.
