Thread: [noob]PHP doesn't work on localhost


ok, have fresh install of ubuntu , changed out unity gnome3. installed lamp via "apt-get install lamp*" or that. '*' suppose carrot.

changed default public_http "/var/www/" "~/website/" , works. if load html website, can see fine.

problem can't see php websites. checked , made sure php installed "php -v" , shows have php 5.3.5.

i'm guessing i'm missing entry php config file or something. thanks.

what happens when try load php site? paste output of

code:
dpkg -l | grep php
