Thread: unable to uncheck update box in software manager

i've run in weird problem cant uncheck "pre-released updates" box...i had checked glimpse @ kinds of updates available option checked tried , updated repository. problem cant uncheck again or of options matter. there way reset repository settings default?

know if kde keeps history of installed packages..since couldnt uncheck box went ahead , installed thinking might let me uncheck afterwards (stupid know), seeing how im pretty newbie, dont want take chances of package breaking

system settings---->system administrator--->software management--->settings--->edit origins--->updates


im using kubuntu 11.04 64 bit version...any appreciated..thanks in advance

i have same problem , have yet find way uncheck it. seems once checked , there updates isn't allowed change anything, though doing updates doesn't change anything. of boxes still can't unchecked.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
