Using Lightroom on multiple computers with the same images

when using lightroom on pc download images external hard drive.  when away home can use lightroom on laptop , down load images same external hard drive , process them , have lightroom on pc locate them when return home.

yep.  if you're regularly going multiple machines, easiest solution put catalog file on external hard drive, , open same catalog on both machines.  alternative use import catalog when main computer, copy holiday photo settings main catalog.
