i'm sure posted in forum somehow ended in "the lounge"
imho post relates directly marketing issue joomla of important extensions, , think joomla should consider introducing mechanism counteract issue, ideally involved in marketing should take note of problem. believe in "the lounge" won't right people. in fact believe if joomla not address issue it'll end being cms elite.
but maybe joomla tool elite, , explain why no 1 has reported similar situation has happened them. maybe i’m idiot thought joomla interested in providing grounds individuals or companies produce operative , secure websites, clean obstacles.

that same day informed hosting provider (joomla-chile) after finding way site , eliminating hack.

el segundo taller, sobre seguridad en joomla!, lo dictará hugo baronti. se trata de un taller especializado donde se revisarán varios tips fundamentales e imprescindibles para tener un joomla! seguro. para seguir este taller se requiere llevar un laptop con un sitio joomla (accesible en localhost [opción recomendada] o en un servidor remoto) versión 1.5.x o 1.7, y los permisos de superadmin para instalar la última extensión rsfirewall, que se utilizará como ejemplo.
i have underlined words in spanish represent importance of using rsfirewall in joomla site in words of mr. baronti:
“i recommend (encarecidamente) emphatically take part in course have secure website”.
“tips…. (imprescindibles) the bare minimum have secure website……. install rsfirewall”
although rsfirewall mentioned mr. baronti being used example, i’m sure no rsfirewall user willing replace free alternative, , clear call more mere “recommendation”.
on 10th november sent letter joomla-chile explaining situation not possible me renew rsfirewall license present purchasing system in place rsjoomla.com, , ask them find way renewing license locally.
as got no answer sent them same letter again on 13th november copy mr. baronti’s personal email, in case had not arrived before.
mr. baronti responded should contact joomla-chile through email because doesn’t respond issues hosting through personal email. joomla-chile (info@joomla-chile.cl), date hasn’t answered 2 emails.
additionally, have further complaint.
i reviewed rsfirewall extension, in same way have reviewed extensions have had experience with, honesty , transparency. made clear note valuable extension, can’t give stars to, because has limited payment system excludes people don’t have credit cards or paypal. as, way joomla users can use extension, weak point excludes access extension, should modify make accessible bigger population of joomla websites. instead of answering issue resolve, review has been eliminated.
as there no solution, suppose have wait website hacked , later closed out mr.baronti, because it’s security risk, i’ll end losing effort of 2 years, when website starting move up.
