AS3, get file names in folder with Flash .exe or .app, not Air

i'm building flash project read folder names of pictures & videos can added dynamically flash project. .swf, .app or .exe, output final version, run on pc or mac that's hooked large flat screen monitor.

 

if project being used on web i'd call .php script dump file names .xml file. however, flash & computer offline.

 

i'm haven't built air don't have enough time speed in order use it. know air's as3 has filelistevent class has getdirectorylistingasync method read directory.

 

so question is, there way read names of directory folder when flash running offline?

 

i wondering if running dos script or mac dos-like script do-able.

 

or there better way?

you can't flash alone, , trying os script work on both mac , pc going problematic @ best. you're going need bite bullet , use air, it's not hard... here's example going:

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
