Can not install - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi.

i can not install joomla 2.5. created mysql database. downloaded joomla , extracted files on computer.

the next tutorial step says use ftp client upload files can't. tried filezilla first , wouldn't work downloaded cuteftp , won't work either. i'm sure information correct. i've looked @ tutorials/read says , tried different things connect in case. cuteftp tells me firewall might blocking went through tutorial allow program , still won't work. says disable anti-virus. not want this, decided open anti-virus anyway , update manually while on before disabling. left cuteftp trying connect. didn't complete update , instead disabled until closed ftp. disabling anti-virus still didn't me connect either , don't fact disabled itself.

what can either make connect or install joomla in different way?

i think trying install joomla on site available online. that, go public_html folder of site, upload extract joomla kit on there. access site, begin install joomla.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
