CS6 Recovery REALLY only for "C" drive?
i've seen couple discussions in here recovery in cs6. , works if have scratch disk on "c"...
has adobe confirmed this? , if so, please tell me going fix such stupid flaw...
anyhow, morning, spent hour or cleaning , image... , forgot save .psd file before resized , save jpg. isn't problem - in history , save prior crop.... unfortunately, photoshop hung while saving jpg, has never done before, , unable save psd 'cause kept getting popup telling me saving in background , i'd have wait. had kill process.
went out , checked scratch partion - happens "q", , of course theres recovery folder, in folder name... in there's absolutely nothing..........
i'm treating learning experience, once again... kind of when used oracle development - absolute requirement save , 'cause software going crash, hang, or disgustingly undesirable.
i have tried setting scratch drive d: , e: (both internal disks) , had no problem photoshop creating auto-save backup. works @ least sometimes. not always, based on experience. don't recall adobe commenting on issue, have forgotten.
i have wonder, though... if system wouldn't save file using file - save as, maybe had system problem preventing saving of anything.
have verified testing photoshop not creating autosave backup file way you're set up?
