Ever increasing size of database - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i looked @ database today , discovered had grown in size 18mb on 1.5 site 95mb on 2.5.

i discovered finder_links tables have grown in size considerably , may have bearing on speed of backend administration.

i cleaned these tables , size has been reduced 6mb.

these tables believe connected "finder component" in 2.5 have disabled.

so far have not noticed downsides cleaning faster response.

while know 18mb 95mb jump questionable, 95mb database still relevantly small. , proformance issues down hosting. know bigger size database slower response , fetch times, hosting never becomes issue.

it's worth doing sql fetch test see response times , see how spike, assuming on shared. i'd imagine problem spiking. try vps, or sql in cloud , never have problem again :p

just 2 cents, know not answering why gone 18mb, 95mb me 95mb tiny , shouldn't slow down site unless hosting, or big problem causing it.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
