Faint Lines on Photos

when print photos using pse10 photo has faint black (sometimes other colors) approx. 1/2 inch apart. when print same photo using ms photo there no lines. bought new computer (hp pavilion g series windows 7 - 64 bit) last august. required me upgrade pse3. bought new printer @ time.

initial suggestions printer problem. since i've gone through 6 different printers. each produced same result. i've taken photos on disc wal-mart , printed photos - no lines. concluded pse10 problem.

anyone have suggestions?

you try resetting preferences defaults using technique:http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/undo-redo-cancel-actions.html#restore_defa ult_preferences

if thios doesn't work, try rename pse settings folder else.  folder @ link in windows 7:

 

<c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\adobe\photoshop elements\10.0>

 

change 10.0 10.0(0ld).  also, username = own username

 

it worth try if doesn't work can al;ways rename folder 10.0 , nothing lost!!

 

you go folder 10.0 , see if can identify name , change folder name reset when start pse again.

 

please note: should doing while pse shut down otherwise corrupt everything.

 

i told reinstalling pse not reset preferences unless manually delete folders well.  not easy thing because these on place including in windows registry.
