Force SSL Entire site makes TinyMCE disappear - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i hope right forum post in.

i'm using joomla! 2.5 , viewing in google chrome. server linux through godaddy.

i have working ssl installed on server , wanted active on few pages 1 of pages not linked directly menu alternative force ssl entire site.

i've added following .htaccess file:

code: select all

rewriteengine on
rewritecond %{server_port} !^443$
rewriterule .* https://%{http_host}%{request_uri} [qsa,r=301,l]
<ifmodule !mod_ssl.c>
redirect permanent / https://www.domainexcluded.com
 </ifmodule>

and went ahead , activated force ssl: entire site on global configuration > server page.

when try create new article no wysiwyg editor show up. had joomlack editor installed when wouldn't work uninstalled , switched tinymce (checked preferences in global configuration make sure if default editor) , tinymce won't show either.

as turn "force ssl" "none" able see editor.

i've never worked ssl before , have gotten far researching stumped , cannot find info on specific problem.

additional problem: when create new article , click "cancel" "#" after url in browser , cannot cancel out using provided buttons. when turn "force ssl" off problem goes away.

i suppose easiest thing rely solely on .htaccess file , not bother "force ssl" option, safe? of instructions read said both.

any appreciated.

thank you.
