Please help! Broken internal cross references.
i'm creating 20-page pdf powerpoint file. in source powerpoint document, i've embedded internal cross references carry on when file saved out pdf. however, whenever rename resulting pdf or move new location, of internal cross references cease working. can click on them, , "flash" once, not take me different page. i've been able replicate issue on other computers, both inside , outside organization, , in both mac , pc environments.
is relative vs. absolute links? issue on adobe's end? or on powerpoint's? there setting need change somewhere?
thanks in advance thoughts. i've spent hours trying research , diagnose problem, no avail.
for it's worth, here of tech specs of system:
- acrobat v7.0
- powerpoint 2007
- windows xp
- save powerpoint pdf, i'm selecting windows button upper-left corner, hovering on "save as", selecting "pdf or xps", selecting "pdf" file type, selecting desktop (or other location) destination, , clicking "publish".
are references documents located place, bookmarks in current pdf, or what? if other documents, absolute versus relative links, not clear trying do. far getting pdf, selection using ms conversion, not adobe one. pdf maker should give option of save adobe pdf or use create pdf button in acrobat tab. these acrobat pdf maker tools.
