Problems trying to reconnect files in PE10 organizer

i have pe10 on windows 7 computer.  have library of 11,000 images.  somehow last weekend, catalog converted drive letter on paths of image files wrong letter.  otherwise, paths , filenames fine.

 

so i'm trying reconnect files.  being cautious, starting selecting few files , doing file-->reconnect-->missing file.  however, doesn't work.  i've done 10-15 groups @ point. starts laborious search thru directory files.  25-30% of time, pe10 fails.  pop-up error dialog says "elements 10 organizer has stopped working." 1 button says "close program".  when doesn't fail, goes end of search (i presume), , pops window manually search file.  fails find right file(s), in manual window can find right file , reconnects right away.

 

i reluctant try file-->reconnect-->all missing files.  reason: on third group did above, got cocky , tried 1000 files @ once.  first time bombed, , trashed assigned dates on of files.

 

so nightmare.  manually reconnect, have 11,000 files in 100's of folders - take long time.  how can reconnect work properly?

 

i don't have backup recent enough restore.

can tell little more drive letter ? photos stored : internal or external media ?

i suppose looking @ path , drive in 'properties' panel of organizer , compare them path/drive in windows explorer ?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
